My entire family (hubby, me and two boys (7 1/2 and 4 1/2) could all play Blokus strategy board game together. We've played several times, and everyone had a GREAT time.

Love Blokus strategy board game! It's easy to learn, very few rules, and lots of room for strategy type moves. My 14 year old son beats me, but only 40% of the time! 2 can play, 3 or 4 at a time. If your family likes games, this is a must have.

Blokus strategy board game is an OK game. The kids like it, but it has not caught on well. Maybe after the new toys of Christmas are older they will use it more.

Blokus strategy board game is a fun family game that needs 3-4 people to play. I strongly recommend 4 people, as any less makes it too easy for everyone to win (thus having two+ winners at the end of the game). The object of this game is to get rid of all your colored tiles. If you have any tiles left over at the end of the game, you count up the blocks, and that's your score. The person with the lowest score wins. You can play this game with kids, wives, and buddies. This game does not demand too much attention, so you can casually talk while playing this game too. The game is strategic though, and also very addictive. When you finish one game, you'll all want to play it "one more time", then "one more time" again. I bought this game for $30 in the local mall, but it's nice to see Amazon will delivery it with FREE SHIPPING for even less money (AND NO TAX). I strongly recommend this game. You'll definately look at it and say "I bet it took $1 to make this game", but the game is so much fun to play. My family asks that I bring Blokus strategy board game every time we have a game night.

My family and I bought the full size game a few years ago and love it. This travel version is so much fun because it is only for two players. Its small enough to pack and fun fun fun. I would recommend this game as one of the top played games in my family. The four year old plays as well!

My 10-year-old son asked for Blokus trategy board game for his birthday. He wanted to play with it immediately, so in order to pacify him, a few of us adults agreed to play with him. It didn't take long for us to see that this was not just a children's game. We soon had other family members looking over our shoulders, giving suggestions and patiently waiting for their turn to play. The only person who had difficulty with the game was a relative who is red-green color blind. He is able to see slight variations to adequately play other games with colored tokens, but because this game requires frequent visual scanning of the array of colors, it was too much of an effort for him to enjoy the game like the rest of us. Another word of caution is to keep track of all of the pieces (a feat for my family of 3 children). My sister suggested tracing or photocopying the pieces to use as extras when we undoubtedly lose the plastic pieces in the future!

Blokus strategy board game can be enjoyed by the whole family. You do not have to be able to read to play. It is good for challenging creativity. We have had alot of fun with Blokus strategy board game.
