We bought Blokus strategy board game last year for Christmas. It is still, by far, our favorite game (and I'm not just saying that because I won tonight with 2 pieces totaling 8 squares left!). We have an 8 and 10 year old and the 4 of us can play together and have a great time. Our 8 year old daughter ALWAYS finds a place for someone to put down a piece when we think we're finished! It's a great problem solving/puzzle type game that is quick and as much fun for adults as kids. My only complaint is you have to have steady hands as the pieces don't fit really securely into the frame, but we usually only knock 1-2 out before we remember to be careful. Now on the lookout for this year's "Blokus" to add to our collection! A definite best buy!
