I received Blokus strategy board game as a Christmas present last year. Everyone I have played with loves it. Some of my friends like it so much, they seem to have permanently adopted my set. It really shows you how people think. It can be frustrating for people who don't think in ways that allow contingency plans or fail to adapt to how others play their pieces. I'm not sure I would call it "educational" but it's definitely the kind of game where you have to think.
